When is photography not photography? One school of thought will say that the day digital photography killed filmed-based photography – that was the end of an era as millions of digital photographers were born overnight. Another school will say that digital has allowed everyone to become a photographer and that digital manipulation should be embraced.
Our opinion is that everything starts with an image which is captured be it on film or digital. Life for that image thereafter can take different forms and shapes as it is manipulated to create a design element and this is what we have set out to achieve. Below is a broad sampling of digitized pieces which we will use as we explore Photography’s place in Design.
